When you post your job opportunities, please ensure that you are not inadvertantly promoting a system of oppression, racism and marginalization. You ask for 10 years experience but certain racial groups and genders have been overlooked and pushed aside for leadership positions that would have qualified them. Nonetheless, they took on secondary roles until it was their "time." Frankly, the time is now for equal opportunities and representation. So when you create your job ads, think carefully about who you are trying to appeal to versus who you want in your company. For years there has been a great disconnect. You attract qualified candidates but when you look at their name, the color of their skin, listen to their accents or they do not fit the right gender you respond with an automated rejection. When you see us know that we are more than a skin colour, a gender stereotype or a number. What biases have you experienced?
