We have searched long and hard for this one piece of furniture. Who knew finding a decent sectional would be so difficult? We had our mind set on a sectional from Costco. At the time, they seemed large enough, within our budget and had the color selection/comfort we were looking for. After much back and forth trips to Costco, the piece that we wanted was out of stock in store and online. At that point we knew we had to start looking at other options and that is when we stumbled on American Furniture Warehouse (AFW).
When we went to AFW, my husband immediately fell in sofa love with this piece. I was on the fence about it. I mean, I had a budget and I guess he also had his lol. My maximum was $1500. It might sound impractical and unreasonable but I wanted to stick to that. As we continued to tour the store, we stumbled on a second sectional that we both liked and decided that it was a good compromise. It offered the style/design, comfort that we wanted and it was just shy of $900. I thought to myself, after months of looking for a sofa, this is it! Unfortunately, when we made our way over to the sales rep it was out of stock. An absolute bummer! We left the store and decided to continue looking at their other options online. When we came home, my husband said the Bohemian 3 Piece Sectional was the best option for us and that the other sectional would have been too small for the space and he did not like how long the chaise was. After much deliberation, I lost the case (and I rarely lose). We made our way back to AFW two weeks later to purchase the Bohemian 3 Piece Sectional. It was out of stock and they told us they would have it available in two to three weeks. We placed the order and my husband picked it up a week after we placed the order. They deliver all across the US so it does not matter which state you're in! The rug is also from AFW.
Things We Looked For When Buying A Sectional/Sofa
Quality- We wanted a sectional that was easy to clean and made from good quality material.
Reversible Cushions- All cushions are removable and reversible on this sectional. You can unzip the cushion covers and thoroughly clean them.
Size- We wanted a sofa at least 40" high. I did not want to feel like I was sitting low to the ground. It needed to also fill our space without making the room seem crowded.
Price- This sectional is priced at $1498 and with tax just a little over $1600. It also comes with an oversized ottoman for an additional $298 but that may be a later purchase for us.
Color- We wanted a grey or beige sofa, something that goes well with any theme.

Sectional: Includes LAF Chaise, Armless Loveseat, RAF Chaise.

And I know you're probably wondering if after such a long hiatus all you're getting is a couch review??! No. I have much more coming your way. Career updates/changes, new recipes and exciting home ideas. Did I mention? The home ideas are inspired by our newly owned fixer upper home!
Hi! I have this same couch, have you taken off the cushion covers to clean them yet? I’m scared I won’t be able to get them back on!
